1️⃣ Start in Lovable
I take my product requirements (written with ChatPRD) and plug them into Lovable. Want a consistent look? Add your style guides.
Don’t have one? No problem, Lovable designs beautifully by default.
2️⃣ Connect to GitHub
Scary? Nope. Install Github (it's free), clone your project and save it to your computer. You don’t need to touch any scary code stuff, just copy the repo.
3️⃣ Open in Cursor
Open Cursor → File → Open Folder → choose your GitHub project.
Now you're inside your code, but with an AI co-pilot that helps you understand and improve it.
Talk to Cursor like you’d talk to Lovable, but now you can fix bugs, ask deeper questions, and really learn.
Bonus: Unlimited prompts in Cursor = way more cost-effective than Lovable long term.
4️⃣ Pick your model inside Cursor
- Gemini = great for UI and sticky problems
- Claude = strong with logic and flow
Swap based on what you’re trying to solve. It's powerful.
5️⃣ Want backend + database?
Supabase is powerful, and integrates with Lovable easily. It’s a great way to learn full stack app building.
